Eight metres of hand dyed silk chiffon are sewn to create this beautiful sleeveless yellow and white silk maxi dress. The graduating colour of white into yellow, is a hand tie dye effect called ombre. This type of hand tie dye on silk is created after we make and sew the finished dress. We dip the white dress into yellow dye and it graduates upwards to create an ombre effect. When washed and dry we then tie dye lemon yellow and lime green over the top in a vertical pattern.

Three tiers of silk create the flowing skirt of the Santorini dress as this ensures the fullness from each tier, rather than fullness from the waist. The dress is sleeveless and has two silk shoulder straps that can be adjusted. The back of the neck is fixed, and the front ties not only move, allowing many heights to wear this dress, the neckline can also be adjusted for full or partial coverage over the neckline and cleavage.
