Pink white silk sleeveless floaty silk maxi dresses to wear on warm holidays, called Santorini by Lindsey Brown silk luxury resort wear are so stunning. The new colourway of white with pink is such a pretty and feminine colourway. The white dress is hand dip dyed over several days to create our iconic graduated dip dyed pink silk chiffon skirt and hemline. Eight metres of hand dyed silk chiffon are sewn to create this beautiful pink sleeveless silk maxi dress. The graduating colour of pink into white is a hand tie dye affect called ombre. The hand tie dye on silk is created after we make and sew a finished white dress. The top of the dress is white, lined with white base, then dipped into a warm pink tone. Left over a few days the dye is drawn upwards and gradually the pink ombre affect into white colour merges. When washed and dry we then tie dye a darker pink and deeper shades of pink over the top in a vertical hand tie dye pattern. As they are individually hand dyed, the amount of tie dye will vary.
