Designed from start to finish by Lindsey Brown, the Maldives silk kaftan dress takes six days to make from start to finish. The fabric is graduated dip dyed and tie dyed. Once washed it's hand tie dyed and dipped to create the honey brown feather effect. The embroidery outline of bunches of grapes is hand sewn and finishing touches of sequins and beading around the neckline are then sewn by hand
